Western Kentucky football will host the 2026 Red & White Spring Showcase, presented by SA Recycling, at Houchens-Smith Stadium on April 11 at noon. The event will be free for fans to attend.
The event will give Hilltopper fans the chance for a first look at the 2026 WKU football team and will serve as an opportunity for the team to cap off spring practices, which are scheduled to begin March 10. Practices leading up to the Red & White Spring Showcase are closed to the public.
WKU enters its eighth season under head coach Tyson Helton, who holds a 57-36 overall record during his first seven seasons. The Hilltoppers are coming off a 9-4 season in 2025, which included a 27-16 victory over Southern Miss in the 2025 New Orleans Bowl – the fifth bowl win for the Hilltoppers in seven seasons under Helton.
The Hilltoppers are scheduled to open the 2026 season at Nevada on Sept. 5. The full 2026 schedule will be released at a later date.
