Shively leads the way

South Warren’s Owen Shively did his part to help the Spartans wage a historic comeback in a 65-58 win over Greenwood in the District 14 Tournament opening-round game on Feb. 24.
Shively finished with a team-high 18 points – including 6-for-6 from the free-throw line – as South Warren rallied from a double-digit deficit to earn its first trip to the Region 4 Tournament.
The senior guard credited an in-game adjustment with his big night.
“It took me a while to get going,” Shively said. “The shots weren’t falling on the perimeter, so I just put my head down and got to the rim.”
South Warren faces Glasgow in the Region 4 Tournament at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at E.A. Diddle Arena.
