MAC’s March for Meals campaign kicks off

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. — MAC Inc. kicked off their March fundraiser, 31 raffles in 31 days for $31. The campaign helps raise money for their Meals on Wheels program.

Community members are invited to support the MAC’s campaign by purchasing raffle tickets to support their meals on wheels program. Every day in March, MAC Inc. will draw winners for local food, food-themed prizes, and cash.

One 31-dollar raffle ticket enters you into all 31 daily drawings. MAC’s Meals on Wheels program serves the Lower Eastern Shore, delivering 4000 meals a week to homebound seniors in Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester and Somerset counties. Meals On Wheels delivers, warm meals to folks in their home, it also provides a safety checks for those people while socializing.

MAC Inc, Nick Cranford said, “We’re super excited for our annual fundraiser supporting our Meals on Wheels program called March for meals, where we do 31 raffles in 31 days for $31 so for one ticket at $31, you get entered into a raffle every day for the month of March. And every day the prizes are valued at a minimum of $50.” Cranford added, “for every dollar that we get, it goes directly to supporting our Meals on Wheels program, so when you buy a ticket, you’re not only getting a great chance to win a prize, but you’re also providing a meal for a senior right here in our community, so I think it’s a phenomenal fundraiser. “
