Attorney For Epstein Associate Les Wexner Drops F-Bomb On Hot Mic

Billionaire Les Wexner got some blunt advice from an attorney during a House Oversight Committee deposition about his ties to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Perhaps a little fed up with Wexner’s lengthy responses and meandering anecdotes, the attorney leaned in and offered a warning that was probably not meant to be picked up by the mic.

“I will fucking kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, OK?” the attorney said with a smile.

C-SPAN highlighted the moment:

Wexner is facing new scrutiny as his name has appeared more than 1,000 times in the newly released Epstein files. In addition, the late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre claimed that she was trafficked to Wexner and others.

Wexner denied any wrongdoing and said Epstein had duped him.

“I think what’s really important for this group to understand is that, as I look back at it, I was conned by the world Olympic all-time con artist,” Wexner said. He also described Epstein as an “incredible con artist.”

The New York Times reported in 2019 that Wexner gave Epstein “sweeping powers over his finances, philanthropy and private life,” including full power of attorney to act on his behalf. Wexner also told Vanity Fair in 2003 that Epstein had “excellent judgment and unusually high standards” and was “always a most loyal friend.”

But during his deposition this week, Wexner claimed that he had never considered Epstein a close friend.

“I didn’t see Jeffrey as a friend. I saw Jeffrey as I see Matt, my attorney,” he said, gesturing toward one of the other attorneys. “We’re friendly, but we’re not friends.”
