Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested an Iowa woman on charges of indecent behavior with juveniles following an investigation that began earlier this month.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit received a report Feb. 6 involving alleged indecent behavior. During the investigation, authorities determined that Erin E. Guidry, 39, of Iowa, had sent text messages to a victim younger than 16, some of which were sexual in nature.

Investigators obtained a warrant for Guidry’s arrest Wednesday. She was located and arrested Thursday and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

Guidry was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles. Judge Tony Fazzio set her bond at $150,000.
