Another warm and mostly sunny Friday! Increasing clouds will occur by mid afternoon. High temperatures reaching the 60s with relatively light winds! Not too bad for your Friday the 13th. Light rain/drizzle south of I-80 beginning late Friday night near midnight.
A light jacket Friday morning with temperatures in the 20s. By lunch time, temperatures warm up quickly in the 50s. Friday afternoon will be pleasant to enjoy outdoors, as temperatures top the 60s with light winds & scattered cloud cover.
Saturday morning will bring a chance for light rain/drizzle, mainly south of I-80 & G.I. A sharp cutoff is expected from Broken Bow and points south. Areas near the NE/KS border will see the better rain totals, with amounts up to 0.10″+ possible. Timing: 2am- 3pm Saturday. AM cloudy/PM clear.
Rain totals for much of us will be just a few hundredths. Spots near the NE/KS border have a better chance for 0.10″- 0.25″+.
Not the spookiest Friday the 13th across Nebraska. Light precipitation 2am – 2pm Saturday before lots of sunshine takes over through Sunday. Sunday looks a bit breezy, but overall a perfect day to enjoy outdoors.

Tuesday night, some light rain possible from a big system in the Dakotas. Wednesday night brings our next cold front along with increasing precipitation chances. A light mix possible Thursday, but mainly rain likely due to the warmth we have experienced. Thursday- Saturday looks to be our best chance for measurable precipitation. Stay tuned for the latest.
