A Russian military jet made a brief overnight visit to North Korea this week, just days after flying a military delegation to Abu Dhabi for peace talks with Ukraine, aviation data shows.

The Ilyushin Il-62M (RA-86572) operated by the 223rd Flight Unit State Airline under Russia’s Defense Ministry touched down in Pyongyang at around 7:30 p.m. KST on Monday, according to Flightradar24.  The jet flew in from Vladivostok, where it stopped en route from Moscow.
