Griz, a 4-year-old pyrenees mix is the Snake River Animal Shelter’s newest resident, and he’s our Pet of the Week.
Griz came from central Idaho and was previously owned by an elderly person. Shelter Executive Director Michelle Ziel-Dingman says Griz is very social, despite being tied up for most of his life.
“He’s a big love bug and has lived with lots of other cats,” Ziel-Dingman says. “He loves children and was a fixture in the neighborhood with all the kids coming by and petting him every day.”
He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
If you’d like to see him or learn more, stop by the shelter at 3000 Lindsay Boulevard in Idaho Falls during regular business hours. It’s open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. It closes at 5 p.m. on Saturday. You can also visit the website or call (208) 523-4219.
