Zoe Dellinger scored 15 points, Logan Doughty added 12, and Gorham ended its girls basketball regular season Thursday night with a 52-25 victory over visiting Scarborough in a possible Class A South playoff preview.
Gorham (10-8) entered the game ranked eighth in Class A South and will host a preliminary-round game next week, likely against Scarborough (7-11).
Ella Herzberg led the Red Storm with 12 points.
MARSHWOOD 51, KENNEBUNK 22: Natalie Lathrop paced a balanced offense with 14 points as the Hawks (13-5) defeated the Rams (7-11) in South Berwick.
Isabelle Tice chipped in with 13 points and Renee St. Pierre scored 12. The Hawks expect to be the No. 5 or No. 6 seed in the Class B South tournament, avoiding a preliminary-round game.
Kendall Therrien tallied 10 points for Kennebunk, which will qualify for the Class A South tournament as the No. 10 or No. 11 seed.
MORSE 67, WATERVILLE 31: Four players scored in double figures to lead the Shipbuilders (7-11) past the Panthers (2-16) in Waterville.
Reese Darling led Morse with 19 points. Molly Cosgrove added 17, Selah Park had 12 and Lily Caron scored 10.
Olivia Rollins paced Waterville with 10 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
SANFORD 75, BIDDEFORD 37: Dylan Gendron tossed in 15 points, three other Sanford players finished in double figures, and the Spartans (17-1) cruised past the Tigers (3-15) in Biddeford.
Adams scored 13 points, and Ryan Alexander and Cayden Gendron both had 12 for Sanford, the No. 1 team in the Varsity Maine poll.
Julius Searles led Biddeford with 13 points.
