GOCA launches upgraded website and Creative Business Directory

The Grenada Office of Creative Affairs (GOCA) proudly announces the launch of its upgraded website and new Creative Business Directory, a key digital initiative under GOCA’s strategic mandate to strengthen the visibility, growth and sustainability of Grenada’s creative industries.

Officially unveiled on 22 January 2026, GOCA’s vibrant informational website showcases Grenada’s creative economy in action and highlights key initiatives developed to increase the economic value of Grenada’s cultural and creative industries (CCIs), including the CCI Business Development Fund, Concessions for Creatives, and CCI Scholarships. A notable feature of the upgraded digital platform is the Creative Portal, an online community for creatives registered with GOCA. The Creative Portal is GOCA’s hub for promoting creative initiatives, facilitating access to essential services, and supporting the professional advancement of creative practitioners.

The GOCA Creative Business Directory, launched alongside the informational website, is a public access marketplace of creative professionals and enterprises. By simplifying the process of finding creative talent with an easy-to-navigate online directory, GOCA has made it easy to find the right service providers for creative projects.

The Grenada Office of Creative Affairs is intentional about everything that we do,” explained Orlando Romain, Advisor with responsibility for the Creative Economy. “When we launched in 2023 with the official Unleash Conference, we mapped out a clear path for developing the sector through capacity building, financing and market access. Today, we are proud to be launching this digital, interactive tool focused on market access. Grenada has an abundance of creative talent, both locally and in the diaspora, and it is our intention to ensure that there are tools and systems in place for them to be discovered, engaged and earn income from their creative enterprises.”

André Hayes of MindzEye Films commends the initiative to bring creatives and the people looking for creative services together in one space. “I think this is a step in the right direction to bringing more awareness to the people who exist within the creative space. One of the difficult things, as creatives, is getting that extra push to market our services. This new directory helps so that we do not have to focus so much on marketing and can focus on creating.” Similarly, Kisha Miller, creator of Living Essentials and Luxurious Scents, is excited about the opportunities that the new directory will unlock. “The new directory will create a central place to find different talents and more people within the creative economy. It minimises the back and forth of trying to use connections to find talent since you have it right at your fingertips. I also like the option that you can be featured, so that you can have more exposure for your services.”

Your next collaboration is only one search away! Visit https://creativeaffairs.gov.gd to learn more about the Grenada Office of Creative Affairs and explore the new Creative Directory. Creatives who are not yet part of the GOCA community can register via the website.
