The bodies of a four-year-old boy and of one woman were retrieved from the sea off the island of Ikaria in the Aegean Sea, after a boat carrying migrants capsized on Saturday.
Still missing on Sunday are two children and an adult man, local media reported.
The boat capsized behind the airport in Agia Kyriaki area, in the North-East of the island.
Fifty boat passengers managed survive in the cold waters and reach the rocks, while many were rescued by the crews of coast guard vessels.
The Search And Rescue operation to locate the missing persons continued on Sunday with Coast Guard vessels, divers and an Air Force helicopter.
The rescued are approximately 50 people, among them young children and according to information, it is not a shipwreck but the smuggler literally threw them into the sea with the tragic development that followed.
In the area, the winds are weak and the sea is rather clam with no big waves.
There is a great mobilization by the people of Ikaria to collect clothes and shoes, mainly for children. Whoever can, things are collected at the Agios Kirikos Community Center and the Asklipios building, the local media reported.
