Further 260 Myanmar EPS workers sent to the Republic of Korea

Myanmar workers arrived in the Republic of Korea.

The Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) has recently dispatched 260 workers to the Republic of Korea, according to the Myanmar Embassy in the Republic of Korea.

The embassy said in a statement on 19 January that 260 EPS workers in total arrived at the Incheon International Airport– 14 EPS re-entry workers on 6 January, new 114 manufacturing workers on 7 January and further 111 manufacturing workers, new 15 forestry workers and new 4 service workers.

The labour attaché from the embassy in Seoul welcomed the workers and advised them what they need to follow. Via a video call, the ambassador U Myo Myint Maung greeted them friendly and urged to pay special attention to health and workplace safety, and request help to the embassy anytime if there is something difficult.
