A look at the Brooklyn Homes playground before volunteers started work on Saturday.
A Better Glynn hosted its third MLK Day of Service on Jan. 17 in Brunswick. Volunteers assisted at a number of sites in the city, helping with tasks like sorting donations at Salvation Army and mulching playgrounds near Brunswick Housing Authority public housing developments.
At the Brooklyn Homes playground, volunteers removed debris, including glass, and added mulch to make the area safer for children.
