Iowa State defensive lineman Ikenna Ezeogu, who started every game in 2025, has transferred to Penn State.
Blue-White Illustrated first reported that the 6-5, 285-pound Ezeogu was listed in the Penn State student directory. He was in the transfer portal, but he did not announce his commitment to the Nittany Lions and Matt Campbell, who was his coach at Iowa State.
Ezeogu was rated a four-star prospect coming out of Blue Springs, Mo., and chose Iowa State over Illinois, Kansas and Kansas State. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
He had 25 tackles, including three in the backfield, for the Cyclones last year. After being redshirted in 2022, he played in 39 consecutive games the last three seasons.
Ezeogu is among 36 players who either have transferred or who are transferring to Penn State, including 23 from Iowa State and seven defensive linemen.
