Actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay appeared at the CBI headquarters in Delhi for questioning regarding the deadly stampede at his party’s rally in Karur. Arriving in a Range Rover, he was given special security clearance to enter the premises directly. The interrogation, conducted by a DYSP-rank officer, is expected to last several hours. A key focus of the questioning will be his ‘conspiracy charge that he’s been leveling time and again Claiming that the government did not cooperate in ensuring a successful rally for him in Karur and that’s what led to this stampede’. Although accompanied by his legal team and party member Aadav Arjuna, Vijay will face the CBI interrogation alone. He has reportedly arranged for accommodation in Delhi, anticipating the questioning may extend to a second day.
