The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) said timely renewal of fire licenses for commercial and industrial establishments is, what it called, of critical importance and highlighted its role in safeguarding lives, protecting property, and upholding fire safety standards.
The KFF Public Relations Department said delays in renewing fire licenses may expose facility owners to financial penalties and legal consequences, which in severe cases can include administrative closure of the premises, reports Al-Rai daily.
These measures are part of the KFF commitment to ensuring compliance with approved safety regulations and ensuring fire prevention and firefighting systems remain fully operational.
The Fire Department has called on all business and industrial facility owners to carefully run a check on the expiry dates of their fire licenses and ensure every technical requirement is met before renewal.
Timely compliance not only helps prevent legal issues and operational interruptions but also reinforces fire safety measures, creating a more secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors alike.
The department stressed that adherence to license renewal deadlines is both a legal obligation and a proactive step in mitigating risks, reinforcing the shared responsibility of businesses in maintaining community safety standards.
