ZIMBABWE was thrust on the spotlight as American YouTube streamer iShowSpeed finally landed in the country as part of his tour of Africa.
His arrival and the subsequent tour of Harare attracted digital attention with more than a million streams in less than seven hours of the Zimbabwean leg of his African tour.
Accompanied by comedian, Chief Ben, iShowSpeed made his first stop at the Mbuya Nehanda statue where he was welcomed by musicians Silent Nqo and Hope Masike who gave the American an African traditional experience.
The streamer, rolling in top-of-the-range Rolls Royce visited Trabablas Interchange where he was challenged to pull a vehicle by Chido Maenzanise.
An intriguing moment came when iShowSpeed met his doppelganger and highlight of the tour, Mudiwa Jani, in Mbare.
Jani, a media personality, became iShowSpeed’s right hand man when he visited the remaining locations of the day including Matapi flats where he showed his other side of music at Chillspot records.
He earned it… He put it work. The highlight of the stream! https://t.co/rZRrYcFwPU

Came to watch Speed stayed for Superstar Jani 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 He stole the show and showed what I feel this tour is really about and that’s genuine connection. Speed wasn’t chasing introductions meeting artists and influencers he was responding to real energy and real personality. That’s… pic.twitter.com/qMXeqcUvZy
