Foreign Ministry recommends Kyrgyz citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran

AKIPRESS.COM – In recent days, protests have been reported in several Iranian cities.

There are no Kyrgyz citizens among those injured during the protests in Iran as of January 6, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Ministry recommends that Kyrgyz citizens temporarily refrain from traveling to Iran unless it is urgent or necessary.

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Iran are advised to  be cautious, avoid crowded places, demonstrations, and protests, comply with the requirements and recommendations of local authorities and law enforcement agencies, carry documents, and monitor official announcements.
