ASG employees are getting three days off for Christmas.

Governor Pulaalii Nikolao Pula has declared Christmas Eve, Wednesday December 24th,  Thursday, Christmas Day and Friday, December 26th as official holidays for ASG in observance of the Christmas holiday season.

Governor Pulaalii said the Christmas season provides an opportunity to reflect upon the birth of Christ and the values of love, generosity and service to others.  Employees are encouraged to spend this time with family and loved ones and to give thanks for the many blessing in our lives.

The Governor extended sincere appreciation to all ASG employees for their continued service and dedication to the people of our territory.  “May this holiday season bring you peace, joy and renewed strength for the year ahead. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!”

Also today President Donald Trump issued an executive order declaring  Christmas Eve, December 24 and the day after Christmas, December 26 as federal holidays.  Christmas Day is already a standard federal holiday.
