Mongolia and Qatar discuss development of bilateral relations
AKIPRESS.COM – State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav met with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi on December 16 on the sidelines of the 11th Session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP11) to the UN Convention against Corruption in Doha, Montsame reported.
The two sides exchanged views on further developing bilateral relations. They agreed to promote more practical and result-oriented cooperation in trade, economy, culture, sports, infrastructure, air transport, environment, and agriculture, including collaboration on exporting halal-processed meat to Qatar.
Furthermore, the two parties noted that high-level reciprocal visits would give impetus to elevating bilateral relations and cooperation to a new level, and agreed to finalize, in the near future, the documents currently under negotiation between the two countries.
