Actor Srikanth’s son Roshan Meka is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming film Champion. The film is produced by Swapna Cinema, the banner known for backing quality content. National Award winner Pradeep Advaitham helmed this flick, and Mollywood actress Anaswara Rajan is making her Tollywood debut with this flick.

The promotional content released so far has been impressive, including the songs and teaser. Today, Champion’s theatrical trailer was launched at an event which was graced by Mega Power Star Ram Charan. The trailer leaves a solid impression, seamlessly blending elements of rebellion, love, and fun.

The story is set against the backdrop of Bairanpally, which suffered immensely during the heinous rule of the Razakars in the Nizam region. The trailer promises to narrate the haunting tale and ordeal of the common people under the Razakars, taking cinematic liberties.

Roshan is portrayed as a football lover who falls for Anaswara Rajan. He had earlier captivated audiences as a lover boy in his debut film, Pelli SandaD, and his transformation for Champion is impressive. His action avatar and scenes with the female lead stand out. Anaswaraja Rajan looks adorable pairing up with Roshan.

The film appears to be high on emotional depth, going by the trailer that highlights the struggles of the Nizam people. The background score, visuals, and production values are top-notch. All in all, the promotional asset packs a punch.
Priyanka Dutt, GK Mohan, and Gemini Kiran are producing Champion under the banners of Swapna Cinema, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films, with Zee Studios presenting it. Mickey J. Meyer is composing the music. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on December 25, 2025.
