Bruneian holistic health coach and founder of Flowithtia, Atiqah Md Ali, has been recognised at the prestigious Women of the Future Awards Southeast Asia 2025 as the ‘Highly Commended’ Social Entrepreneur of the year, honouring her work for the communities of women.
Representing Brunei on the regional stage, Atiqah’s recognition highlights her support in building an online trusted platform for women in understanding their menstrual cycles, fertility and overall hormonal well-being.
Since its inception in 2020, Flowithtia has reached nearly 4,000 women across Brunei through online classes, one-on-one consultations, and practical resources grounded in holistic health guidance.

Atiqah Md Ali’s path into holistic women’s health began with deeply personal experience. After enduring two back-to-back pregnancy losses, she sought alternative and holistic care, studying Cycle Health under a hormone expert and functional nutritionist for a year. This journey led her to become a certified Holistic Health Coach in Women’s Health and to create Flowithtia, an online platform offering classes, content, and consultations designed to help women understand and care for their bodies.
Flowithtia has received numerous requests for support with pregnancy loss and infertility—areas Atiqah connects with profoundly. Having endured similar experiences herself, she provides guidance with empathy and compassion. Recognising that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss, she uses her platform to open conversations often left in silence, fostering a culture of sensitivity and understanding among the community.
Though her academic background is in Physics, with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Atiqah’s love for research now drives Flowithtia. All content and classes are meticulously sourced from scientific literature and academic journals, making Flowithtia a trusted, credible resource where holistic care meets evidence-based knowledge.

Over the past year, Flowithtia has expanded its offerings, including new educational courses, a Telegram support group and a period recovery programme.
Her work has supported women navigating period cramps, PMS and irregular cycles, hormonal conditions such as PCOS and pregnancy loss, many of whom credit Flowithtia with “giving them understanding, assurance and support to get their lives back.”
At its heart, Flowithtia is about helping women feel safe, informed, and empowered in their own bodies to make the best possible choice for themselves.
What started as an online platform to simply raise awareness on Menstrual Cycles, and over the years it has evolved to becoming a platform for reproductive health.
Flowithtia has operated anonymously until the recent nomination and recognition of its Founder, Atiqah, in the Women of the Future Awards South East Asia. It has then opened doors to offline projects, including and not limited to corporate wellness workshops, community talks and women-led initiatives.
