Prayagraj: The second group of delegation from Tamil Nadu arrived in the city as a part of the ongoing Kashi-Tamil Sangamam 4.0 on Saturday.Around 200 members of the delegation were warmly welcomed in the city in a traditional way by applying tilak and with garlands. BJP MP Praveen Patel, mayor Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesrwani, and City Magistrate Vinod Kumar Singh greeted the guests with tilak and garlands.The delegates visited the sacred Triveni Sangam to witness the holy confluence of the three rivers. They took a holy dip in the Sangam and offered prayers at various temples across the city.At a ceremony near the VIP ghat in the Sangam area, the MP and Mayor presented the team leader with a memento and a traditional attire, along with Ganga water as a mark of respect. The Tamil guests visited various temple and religious sites of the city and were gifted a copy of the Hanuman Chalisa. The event celebrated cultural exchange and strengthened ties between the Tamil community and Kashi.
