Frank Roche joins us from Dr.Hyde Park in Roscommon this afternoon:
A dry, calm day in Roscommon as the clock ticks down to the Connacht club final showdown between local champions St Brigid’s of Kiltoom and Corofin of Galway.
The hosts started as named in the match programme, with no late surprises from manager Anthony Cunningham.
There are four changes in the Maigh Cuilinn line-up, albeit heaven only knows why their talisman Seán Kelly was originally listed at No 17.
The Galway star comes in along with Aidan Claffey, Tom Clarke and Gerard Davoren, with Conor Corcoran, Eoin McGuire, Padraig Faherty and Charlie Cox dropping out. But there’s no late call-up for Peter Cooke, who is named at 27.
Brigid’s are chasing their sixth Connacht title whereas their rivals – still unbeaten in provincial combat – are seeking their second.
