Two people killed, one person injured in Arkansas wrecks over 18-hour period

Two people were killed and one person was injured in wrecks on Arkansas roads over the weekend, according to preliminary reports by the Arkansas State Police.

Jennifer Williams, 53, of Harrisburg died at approximately 3:57 p.m. Saturday. State police said the 2007 Dodge she was driving southbound on Arkansas 163 near Possum Hollow Road in Poinsett County left the right-hand side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The report states that the Dodge spun in a clockwise direction before coming to a final rest in the ditch.

The investigating officer reported that it was raining and the road was wet at the time of the crash.

Kenneth Myrick, 57, of Ozark, died at 10:49 p.m. Friday when the 2016 Kawasaki he was driving westbound on Arkansas 288 near Ozark overturned, according to a separate report.
