Tobruk – The Environment Department team at Brega Petroleum Marketing Company conducted an inspection tour to monitor marine pollution conditions in the Gulf of Tobruk, as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to protect coastal ecosystems and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the beaches.
The tour covered the coast extending from the port of Brega, passing through the Gulf Company’s port, and reaching the Tobruk basin. The team worked to monitor the water’s condition and detect any potential pollutants that could threaten marine organisms or affect maritime activities in the area.
The company confirmed that this tour is part of its environmental monitoring plan, which aims for the early detection of any signs of pollution and the implementation of necessary measures to address them, ensuring a safe and clean coastal environment.
