Bill Maher attempted on Friday to use White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s own logic against her after she defended President Donald Trump snapping, “Quiet, piggy!” at a journalist.

Trump hurled the insult earlier this month at a female reporter who was asking him about the release of files related to late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Leavitt subsequently characterized the president as simply being “very frank and honest,” suggesting that it is, in fact, “respectful” for Trump to be so “open” with the press.

Maher took aim at Leavitt on Friday’s episode of “Real Time” by taking her argument to its extreme.

“Trump is very touchy about the Epstein thing,” the comedian began, before recapping the “quiet, piggy” exchange that took place on Air Force One.

“And then, listen to this,” he continued. “At the press conference the next day, his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, spun this by saying it’s actually admirable. She said it’s the president being frank and open and honest, that’s good!”

He concluded, “Well, in that case, shut up, bitch.”
