on Wednesday delivered security equipment to the Peruvian National Police (PNP) at the Emergency Squad facilities in the city of Trujillo to strengthen the fight against insecurity.
Cabinet Chief Ernesto Alvarez and Interior Minister Vicente Tiburcio accompanied the Head of State in this activity.
During the event, 400 rifles, 250 bulletproof vests, 159 pickup trucks, 140 motorcycles, 200 radio communication devices, plus 40 drones for patrolling and specialized operations were delivered.

School supervision
Earlier, President Jeri visited the Josefina Gutierrez Fernandez School in Chocope, La Libertad region, as part of his official work agenda in the northern jurisdiction.
The Head of State, along with students and teachers, sang the National Anthem at the site.
The top official stated that it was his first visit to the school, adding that it would not be the last.
“We, the authorities, the adults present here, are working for the present and also thinking about the future, of which you will be the protagonists,” he said.
During the inspection of the school’s facilities, which hosts 500 students in preschool and primary grades, the President listened to both pupils and teachers.

The Head of State arrived in La Libertad to lead a work agenda focused on addressing the region’s most urgent issues, with an emphasis on citizen security, basic infrastructure, and water and sanitation.
He also oversees the evaluation of investment projects that impact competitiveness and territorial development.
