The American Samoa Visitors Bureau has officially unveiled two major digital tools designed to elevate the territory’s global tourism presence and support local industry growth: the American Samoa Pocket Guide and the Trip Carver online booking platform.
The launch took place Wednesday at the American Samoa Community College Multi-Purpose Hall, gathering government directors, ASG personnel, tourism operators, students, and private-sector partners.
The American Samoa Pocket Guide provides travelers with comprehensive digital information and planning tools, including travel requirements, cultural guidance, accommodation options, dining, activities, and local insights.
Integrated with the Trip Carver booking tool, the platform enables visitors to build personalized itineraries and instantly book tourism experiences across the territory. More than 30 local tourism products were live and bookable at the time of launch, and the platform began receiving bookings from enthusiastic travelers shortly after going public.
Also introduced was ASVB’s Village Profiles Project, a long-developed initiative highlighting the traditions, history, and character of villages throughout Tutuila and Manuʻa.
The profiles are designed to support community-based tourism, celebrate cultural knowledge, and provide both locals and visitors with a deeper understanding of each village’s unique identity. With these tools now live, ASVB encourages all tourism operators, entrepreneurs, and cultural partners to participate in this transformative step forward.
