Zagreb, 7 November 2025 – The Zagreb Tourist Board (TZGZ) and Croatia Airlines, in partnership with travel agency Obzor putovanja, have launched two special programmes designed to present Croatia’s capital as a top choice for a short, inspiring getaway.

The new initiatives – “Discover Zagreb – Feel the Vibes” and “Stopover Zagreb (Between Two Flights)” – highlight the city’s charm through its culture, gastronomy, relaxed atmosphere, and year-round appeal.

Discover Zagreb – Feel the Vibes

The Discover Zagreb campaign promotes the city as the ideal city break destination, inviting domestic and regional travellers to explore how close, accessible, and inspiring Zagreb truly is.

As part of the campaign, an attractive travel package is available, including:

• Return flights from Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, Zadar, Sarajevo, Skopje, and Mostar

• Accommodation in 4- or 5-star hotels with breakfast

• A guided city tour led by a professional guide

The package offers travellers a convenient and appealing way to enjoy a short but enriching stay in Croatia’s capital. More information is available at www.infozagreb.hr.

Stopover Zagreb (Between Two Flights)

In addition, TZGZ and Croatia Airlines have introduced Stopover Zagreb, a new programme that allows passengers in transit to extend their stay in the city for 24 or 48 hours.

The concept invites travellers to make the most of their stopover and experience Zagreb in a completely new way – from its rich history, museums, and galleries to its lively food scene and excellent shopping options.

Passengers flying with Croatia Airlines can book a special stopover package, which includes:

• 4- or 5-star accommodation with breakfast

• City tax included

• A Zagreb Card, offering benefits such as free public transport and discounts on museum tickets, attractions, and restaurants.

Details about the packages can be found on Obzor putovanja’s website: https://obzorputovanja.hr.

“We thank our long-standing partner, the Zagreb Tourist Board, for supporting the launch of these two new programmes. Our goal is to further position Zagreb as a favourite travel destination,” said Slaven Žabo, Director of Commercial Affairs at Croatia Airlines.

“We believe that many of our passengers from Croatia and the region will recognise the value and benefits of these offers and take the opportunity to discover the capital in a fresh and affordable way.”

Martina Bienenfeld, Director of the Zagreb Tourist Board, added:

“Our cooperation with Croatia Airlines and Obzor putovanja represents another step forward in enhancing our promotional activities and strengthening Zagreb’s recognition as a desirable city break destination. These new programmes make travel to Zagreb simpler and allow visitors to experience the city more fully. This initiative supports sustainable year-round tourism and reinforces Zagreb’s reputation as a city that continually raises the bar in quality and innovation.”
