Police condemn barbaric killings on Karkar Island

Madang Provincial Police Commander condemns the brutal killings of two men at Kinim Station on Karkar Island early Friday morning, describing the attack as “barbaric and inhumane.” This incident is being treated as a serious breach of law and order, and those responsible must face justice.

The victims are two men from Gial village at Kinim Station, Karkar Island. Suspects are alleged to be from Urugen village in what is believed to be a retaliation attack. One of the victims was reportedly beheaded after being taken into police custody. The incident occurred early Friday morning at Kinim Station.
