The troopers pursued for several blocks before the driver stopped the vehicle, got out and ran off.

After about 30 seconds, troopers caught up to the suspect and took him into custody.

The driver, a 17-year-old from Omaha, was lodged in the Douglas County Youth Center on suspicion of theft by unlawful taking, flight to avoid arrest, obstructing a peace officer, possession of marijuana, and driving without a license.
