Kenneth Wyman

Randolph, VT – Kenneth Wyman, a lifelong resident of Vermont, passed away on October 29, 2025. He was born to Luella Peck Cary on June 24, 1956, in Montpelier, VT. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and deep love for the outdoors.

An avid fisherman, Kenneth found peace and joy on the water, where he spent countless hours casting a line and sharing stories with friends. He had a special fondness for mallard ducks, appreciating their beauty and calm presence in nature.

For over 28 years, Kenneth worked at Vermont Castings, where he was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and camaraderie with his coworkers.

Outside of work, Kenneth cherished time spent with his family and friends. Whether gathering for a meal, sharing a laugh, or heading out for a day of fishing, he valued the simple, meaningful moments that brought people together. He also enjoyed walking in town and socializing.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter Tina (Duval) and Melissa Lafayette of Randolph; Granddaughters Nicole (Nick) Bennett of Lake View, GA, Destiny Duval (Thomas) of Hancock, Shelby (Sebastian) Smith of Tunbridge, Faith DeCroti (Jake) of South Royalton, Charlee and Dani Lafayette of Randolph; 3 great-grandsons and 5 great-granddaughters; sisters Ruthie Peck of Waterbury and Helen (Sukie) Holmes of Berlin; brother Avery Cary of Burlington; the Vermont Castings family; and very special friend, Karen Connolly.

A special thank you to the Visiting Nursing Association, Hailey and Gracia, for the wonderful care, as well as the Jack Bryne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care (Dartmouth).

Kenneth’s warmth, patience, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Per Kenneth’s wishes, there will not be a formal service held. A celebration of life will be held in June 2026.

Arrangements are under the direction of Day Funeral Home.
