The bail hearing for the trio charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of 0.345 grams of methamphetamine is scheduled for this Friday.
Peniasi Delai and two foreign nationals, Logamaisino Baules from Palau, and Ginna Choi from Federal States of Micronesia appeared before Magistrate Yogesh Prasad this morning.
They are now represented by legal aid counsels and have been served disclosures by the State.
Senior DPP Lawyer Eoghn Samisoni informed the court that the State is objecting to bail.
The trio are part of the other local and foreign nationals, including Chinese national, remanded after a series of raids by the Police in Suva and Nadi.
Baules is facing an additional charge of Prohibited Immigrant while Choi was also found with over $900 and foreign currency.
Baules arrived in court today with bandages on his arm.
He informed the court that he got injured while defending himself in remand during a fight.
The matter will be called on the 18th of November for plea and ruling on the bail application.
