APD homicide detectives say they solved 84% of this year’s cases, while also solving an additional 25 cases from previous years. Just last week, police say they arrested a woman who was wanted for murder in 2019.
The combination of solved cases from this year, with the ones from previous years, means APD has a 132% clearance so far this year.
