Twenty schools will be closed on November 3rd, 2025 in view of the President’s visit. Celebrations for the Silver Jubilee of the state’s 25th anniversary have begun. President Draupadi Murmu will arrive in Uttarakhand on Sunday for a three-day visit. She will address a special session of the Legislative Assembly on November 3rd. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sainya Dham on November 9th.
President Draopadi Murmu will arrive at Dehradun Airport on Sunday at around 10:15 a.m. by a special Air Force plane. Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will welcome the President. The President will then travel to Haridwar by an Army helicopter.
She will confer degrees to students as the chief guest at the convocation ceremony at Patanjali University, Bahadrabad. She will spend the night at Rashtrapati Niketan. On Monday, she will address a special session of the Legislative Assembly at 11 a.m. to mark the Silver Jubilee of the State’s Foundation Day. She will then attend a function at the Raj Bhavan in Nainital in the evening.
