General Electricity Company Continues Completion of Al-Karimiya Power Station Project

Tripoli – The General Electricity Company announced on Saturday the continuation of final preparations to complete the “30/11 kV” electrical supply station project in the Al-Krimiya area, as part of its efforts to develop the network and improve the performance of the electricity system in the capital and its surrounding areas.

The company explained, in a statement published on its official Facebook page, that the project has entered its final stage after the installation of all major equipment and components for the station, including two transformers with a capacity of 20 megavolt-amperes each.

It added that this project is one of the urgent projects included in the general administration’s plan to address electrical bottlenecks, and it aims to enhance the stability of the grid and meet the increasing demand for energy in the Al-Krimiya area and neighboring regions.

The General Electricity Company affirmed its commitment to accelerating the implementation of vital projects to ensure the stability of the power supply and improve the quality of service provided to citizens in various areas.
