The eighth annual Killarney Motor Show is revving into Cape Town this weekend.
Hot on the heels of Speed Classic Cape Town, this popular car showcase will see petrolheads from across the Mother City and beyond coming together to celebrate the best of automobile culture.
Last year, the event featured 2000 displays, vendors and interactive experiences, and drew over 12 000 automobile enthusiasts.
Now, partnering with the City of Cape Town, and with Smile 90.4 FM handling the presenting duties, the Western Province Motor Club (WPMC) is inviting you to join what promises to be a bigger, better show!
KILLARNEY MOTOR SHOW: ALL THE DETAILS
The show will take place this Sunday, 2 November 2025, at the Killarney International Raceway at 6 Potsdam Road, Table View. Gates will open at 10:00. The event will run until 16:00.
Online tickets cost R130 for adults, R98 for pensioners over the age of 60 and R45 for under-16s.
You can also purchase tickets at the gate when you arrive at the Motor Show. These will cost R160 for adults and R60 for under-16s. Pensioners do not get a discount at the gates. Admission is free for children under the age of 12.
Members of the WPMC can also enter free, so long as they show their membership book at the gate.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
At the Killarney Motor Show, the WPMC promises “a showcase for the latest cars, bakkies, motorcycles and accessories, a celebration of Cape Town’s vibrant streetcar culture and a gallery of lovingly restored and maintained classic vehicles.”
Indeed, you will get the opportunity to clap eyes on vintage classics à la Alfa Romeo and Porsche, as well as brand new racing models. You will also get to see some of these cars in action, from daring drifting displays to spinning stunts.
Additionally, you can peruse the wide range of stalls that sell motoring accessories and related memorabilia.
Expect live music and delicious foods and beverages at the event. For entertainment, you and the littles can enjoy some go-karting or go on rides at the funfair.
