Walmart reveals 2025 Black Friday schedule with early access for members

Holiday deal-hunters, mark your calendars: Walmart has officially announced its 2025 Black Friday schedule, and it’s bigger than ever. Branded under the whimsy-infused “WhoKnewVille” campaign, the retailer is staging two Black Friday events and one Cyber Monday event across November, designed to bring serious savings and smart shopping flexibility.

The first event launches November 14 through 16 online and in-store — with early access for Walmart+ members beginning the evening of November 13 at 7 p.m. ET. The second wave runs from November 25 to 30, starting online with select in-store deals following. The Cyber Monday event wraps things up on December 1, online only.

Walmart emphasizes convenience just as much as savings: expect early morning delivery, extended hours, and in-app deal alerts so you don’t miss the best tags.

What to expect: Top categories and brands

While Walmart hasn’t published the deals for each item, here are some categories we expect to see massive price cuts:

  • Tech and electronics: Expect big-ticket brands like Samsung, TCL, and Dyson at low prices.
  • Toys and collectibles: Brands such as LEGO and Barbie are expected to have major price cuts.
  • Home and decor: Shoppers can expect big savings on home and decor items such as cookware sets, bedding, kitchen appliances, and more.
  • Fashion and accessories: Big fashion brands such as Reebok, Michael Kors, and Levi’s are expected to be on major sale.

How to prepare and shop smart

To make the most of the deals, here are a few strategic moves:

  • Sign up or log in to your Walmart account in advance so you’re ready when your preferred deals launch.
  • Make your list now, including “must-have” items and “nice-to-haves” — that way, you can act fast when the time comes.
  • Keep an eye on high-demand categories such as electronics and toys, as these often sell out first.
  • Be aware of event timing: If you’re a Walmart+ member, you’ll likely get early access, which means fewer items will be left later for non-members.

If you’ve been waiting for the biggest deals of the year, Walmart’s 2025 event is shaping up to be a must. Whether you’re shopping for gifts, home upgrades, or tech essentials, planning ahead will give you a leg up on the crowd.
