Richard Brady Baldwin: 1940 – 2025
Richard Brady Baldwin, 85, passed away on October 22, 2025 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale, Wyoming.
He was born on April 9, 1940 in Egnar, Colorado, the son of Edward Baldwin and Fern (Robbins).
Richard graduated from the Natrona County High School with the class of 1958.
He married Linda Rogers in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 1, 1963.
Richard enlisted in the Army in 1966 and served his county during the Vietnam war and was discharged from active duty in 1968.
He worked as an Environmental Engineer for the Bureau of Land Management until his retirement in 2000.
Richard enjoyed spending as much of his free time as possible outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, rock hunting, and 4-wheeling.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Linda Baldwin of Rock Springs, Wyoming; sons, Brady Baldwin and wife, Amanda of Rock Springs, Jason Baldwin and wife, Deide of Pierre, South Dakota; daughter, Rita Bowers and husband, Randy of Rock Springs; brother, Larry Baldwin and wife, Mary of Casper; sisters: Rita Elder of Casper, Jerri Hayman and husband, Chuck of Dubois; grandchildren: David Bowers, Nathan Baldwin, Rowdy Baldwin, Zoe Wendlandt and husband Alan, Hattie Baldwin, Maya Bowers, Gretchen Van Valkenburg and husband Jake; great-grandchildren: Ellie Wendlandt and Dutton Van Valenburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Fern Baldwin.
Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.

Janice Kay Dillon: 1948 – 2025
Jan passed away on Oct. 25 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper following an extended illness.
She was born on Sept. 1, 1948 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Clarence and Lola Davis. She graduated from Ainsworth High School.
On May 24, 1966, she married Joe Dillon in Pierre, South Dakota. Three children were born to this union, and the family moved several times with Joe’s employment.
The Dillons settled in Glenrock in 1979. Jan was a homemaker (with brief stints at Ole’s Classic Pizza and delivering newspapers) until her children were raised. She then embarked on a career in law enforcement, first as a dispatcher for the Glenrock Police Department, and then as a records clerk with the Converse County Sheriff’s Office.
Following the death of her husband in 2017, she retired to her rural Glenrock home and spent the following years watching reruns of Gunsmoke, fashioning diamond dot artwork, reading, and chatting on the phone with family.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Stewart and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Davis, both of Ainsworth; a daughter, Sarah (Randy) Stalker of Glenrock; two sons, Matthew (Jyll) Dillon of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Daniel (Angela) Dillon of Delta Junction, Arkansas; three grandsons: Jacob and Trevor Latimore of Casper, and Caleb Dillon of Delta Junction; a granddaughter, Roslyn Dillon of Delta Junction; a great-granddaughter, Stella Valerie Latimore of Casper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Evelyn Monk; and two brothers, Ralph and Raymond Davis.
A Memorial services for Janice Kay “Jan” Dillon, 77, of Glenrock, are to be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at First Southern Baptist Chapel in Glenrock with Pastor Jim Ritter officiating,.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to First Southern Baptist Chapel in Glenrock.
Alan Troy Fietkau: 1969 – 2025
Alan Troy Fietkau, affectionately known as “Troy,” was born on January 21, 1969, in Missoula, Montana. He lived a spirited life, marked by his dedication to family and an adventurous spirit that resonated with those around him. Troy’s journey came to a sudden end due to a work accident on October 22, 2025, in Jeffrey City, Wyoming, where he was making memories and living life to the fullest.
Troy was a graduate of college for Auto Body & Repair, showing early on that he was a jack of all trades. His career in the oil field was a testament to his strong work ethic and skills. He was described as dependable, fun, and very much the life of the party, often bringing laughter and joy to any gathering. His outgoing personality coupled with a selfless nature made him someone who would drop everything to help a friend in need. Truly a jokester at heart, he maintained a playful demeanor that endeared him to his family, friends, and co-workers alike.
He was deeply proud of his family, which included his beloved wife, Connie; daughters: Mickyla, Katie, and Callie; son, Alan; and five cherished grandchildren. His love for them was unwavering, and they were undoubtedly his proudest accomplishment. Troy’s protective nature was especially evident in his devotion to Connie, as he was known to be very protective and caring towards her.
In his leisure time, Troy found solace and enthusiasm in various hobbies such as forging, hunting, fishing, and motorcycling. Many fond memories were made with loved ones camping, enjoying bonfires, playing horseshoes at midnight, and engaging in spirited poker games. His outgoing spirit extended to outdoor activities where he sought adventure and connection, fostering lasting memories with family and friends.
Troy leaves behind siblings and his step-father, Earl Sanford, who all remember him as a fun-loving, supportive figure in their lives. He also mourns the loss of his son, Andrew Dale Fietkau; mother, Kathaleen Micky Sanford; father, Darrell Fietkau; and nephew, Spencer Sands, who will surely be missed during gatherings and moments of reflection.
A memorial service to honor Troy’s life will be held on November 1, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Casper, Wyoming, starting at 11 a.m. Following this, a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 650 Blackwidow Rd, Casper, at 1:00 PM where family and friends will gather to reminisce and celebrate the joyous life he lived.
Troy Fietkau’s legacy will be one of loyalty, laughter, and love—a true testament to a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

James William Hanley: 1935 – 2025
James “Jim” William Hanley was born August 22, 1935, in Waukegan, Illinois. He passed away on October 25, 2025, peacefully at his home in Bar Nunn, Wyoming, attended by his wife, Jane Hanley, and son, Pat Hanley.
Jim is survived by Jane Hanley, and their children: Denise and Fritz Henze, and their children, Shannon and Phil Liscano, and Kyle Henze; Patrick and Nicole Hanley, and their children Rose and Ken Wallin, Steven Hanley, and Jordan Hanley; Sean and Michele Hanley, and their child, Ian Hanley; Mark and Adel Hanley, and their children, Dayne Chapin, Sheanna Hanley, and Tyann Briggs; Steve and Renee Funderburk, and their children, T.C. Funderburk, Taylor and Tabitha Funderburk, and Teagan Funderburk; Brenda Williams and her children, Heather Williams and Jefery Williams; and Debbie and Barry McCann, and their children Roy and Alyssa McCann and Bob and Andie McCann. In addition, Jim and Jane have eighteen great-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by: his father, James Joseph Hanley; his mother, Cecelia Gertrude Hanley; his brothers: Kevin Hanley, Joseph Hanley, and Herbert Hanley; and his sister, Bea Hanley.
Jim is survived by siblings: John and Mae Hanley; William and Cathy Hanley; Martin Hanley; and Kathleen Diltz.
Service on October 31, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Bustard and Jacoby, located at 600 CY Avenue, Casper, WY, 82601.
Jim graduated from high school in Delta, Colorado. He completed trade schools in Los Angeles, California and Denver, Colorado in pursuit of his career as a mechanic, machinist, welder and foreman with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
Jim was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after his final duty station at Fort Carson, Colorado.
Jim was a highly respected man who loved deeply, lived life passionately, and abided by his faith in Jesus Christ as the light guiding his life. He never met a stranger and routinely approached people he had not yet met to strike up conversations. He was an outdoorsman equally at home in the mountains or within the confines of civilization. He had an adventurous spirit which, accompanied by Jane, led him to live in several western states and Alaska, and to travel to places such as Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan. He was deeply committed to his Christian faith through which he viewed all people as God’s creation and prayed for everyone in general as well as individuals specifically. He served his church, Casper Community Church, faithfully, often participating in distributing food to others in need. Jim valued personal integrity and getting back up after being knocked down, leaving no one condemned or abandoned.
Donations and memorial contributions should be made to the Casper Community Church to further their mission of service.
Curtis Allen Hoven: 1962 – 2025
Curtis passed away at his home on the evening of Tuesday, October 21. Born in Gillette, Wyoming, he grew up surrounded by the wide-open spaces he loved throughout his life. A proud Wyoming man, Curtis spent many years on the road as a truck driver, dedicated to his work. He was currently working for Scott’s Hot Shot.
Quiet by nature but rich in heart, Curtis was a loyal and kind man. He felt most at home in the great outdoors — hunting and fishing with his family or friends, and pool.
Family was always at the center of his world. His daughter, Rachael, was his greatest pride and joy, and he cherished every moment he spent with her. Those who knew Curtis will remember his steady presence, and the deep love he held for the people and places that shaped his life.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Angie Hoven; daughter, Rachael Hoven (Ryan Olson); sister-in-law, Stephanie Fuller; brothers and sisters: Kenneth (Ella), JoAnn (Edwin) Walsh, Barbara (Steve) Snook, Darrell, Darwin, Patricia (Dave) Justice, Nancy (Henry) Taylor, Richard, Tamara Ross, Craig (Deb).
Preceded in death by father, Robert; mother, Gladys; nephew, Kevin; and Ann O’Neal.
