Goalscorer Ahmed Krawa strengthens the ranks of Al-Sabah Sporting Club in Misrata

Misrata – It was announced yesterday that Al-Sabah Sports Club Misrata, newly promoted to the top-flight league, has signed veteran striker Ahmed Krawa’a, in a deal considered one of the most prominent signings of the new season in the Libyan Premier League, given the player’s extensive experience and a career filled with goals for several local and Arab clubs.
Krawa’a, born on January 1, 1989, is one of the most prominent strikers to have excelled in Libyan football in recent years. He is renowned for his potent goal-scoring abilities and has represented nine different clubs, scoring impactful goals in various competitions.
Krawa’a began his career with Al-Shatt in the 2007-2008 season, then moved to Al-Ittihad, followed by Al-Tersana, and from there to Al-Tahaddi in Benghazi, before later returning to Al-Shatt to become the team’s top scorer with 11 goals.
He then had a successful spell with Al-Ahli Benghazi, scoring 11 goals, including a four-goal haul against Al-Qardabiya, before a professional stint with the Tunisian club Hilal Chebba.
Krawa’a returned to Libyan football with Al-Ahli Tripoli, then moved to Al-Akhdar, his ninth club. He subsequently rejoined Al-Ahli Benghazi and shone again, before transferring to Al-Ahli Tripoli, with whom he won the Premier League title in the Italian city of Milan.
Krawa’a is now starting a new chapter in his football career after his official signing with Al-Sabah Sports Club Misrata. The club’s management has described the deal as one of its best signings in preparation for the top-flight competition, where he is expected to be a powerful addition due to his vast experience and prolific goal-scoring record.
