Family mourns 20-year-old Henderson motorcyclist killed in crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The family and friends of a 20-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday held a vigil on Monday, days after the crash.

Logan Hodson of Henderson was driving a motorcycle on Friday around 10 p.m. when a crash took place at the intersection of Frank Sinatra Drive and Reno Avenue.

Las Vegas Metro police said a truck made a left turn from southbound Frank Sinatra Drive onto Reno Avenue and crossed into the path of the motorcycle traveling northbound.

“I would just really like to ask people to please, please just follow the traffic laws,” Georjet Hodson, the mother of Logan said. “Because of this, I lost my firstborn, and it’s going to take a really long time to get through it.”

The crash marks the 131st traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction this year.
