I write in support of Ben Daley, School Committee candidate for Ward 6, who has been a leader in our local food systems and small business community.

As a former board member of the Lewiston Farmers Market and the community market initiative, Ben has listened to local patrons about their needs, collaboratively built trust with fellow farmers and small business owners and worked to maintain and expand accessibility within their programs.

Ben has demonstrated the ability to connect with the diverse Lewiston community through this work. 

This wealth of experience would translate into his work on the School Committee. Ben would center the needs of student, staff and parents alike to ensure all of our schools have what they need to thrive.

I strongly encourage my fellow Lewiston residents to support Ben in building the next generation of leaders.
