easyJet
Low-cost carrier easyJet has dropped another route from its Croatian network, confirming it will no longer operate seasonal flights between Amsterdam and Dubrovnik next summer, exyuaviation.com reports.
The decision brings the total number of recent discontinued Croatian routes to five, with Zadar and Dubrovnik the most affected.
The Amsterdam–Dubrovnik service had run twice weekly from April to October.
Its cancellation follows the airline’s withdrawal of routes from Zadar to Milan Malpensa, Berlin and Lyon, and Dubrovnik to Berlin.
This summer, easyJet competed directly with Ryanair on several of these routes, particularly the Berlin connections to both Zadar and Dubrovnik.
Despite the cuts, easyJet remains one of Croatia’s leading airlines, offering 1.44 million seats in 2025, ranking third behind Ryanair and Croatia Airlines. However, this represents a 3.8% drop compared with the previous year.
Before the pandemic, easyJet was Croatia’s second-largest carrier, but growth has since slowed, while Ryanair has expanded rapidly, especially in Zadar and Zagreb, where it now operates year-round.
easyJet continues to maintain a strong presence along the Adriatic coast, currently the second-largest carrier in Split and Pula, third in Dubrovnik, and fourth in Zadar.
