‘Roi Roi Binale’ sees record bookings across Assam before release

Excitement across Assam runs deep as fans of music legend Zubeen Garg gear up with overwhelming emotion to witness his much-awaited musical film, Roi Roi Binale.

The team behind Roi Roi Binale is set to release the film in theatres on 31 October 2025, and the anticipation surrounding it has turned into a massive wave of love and tribute. Seats across cinemas are filling up faster than ever, both online and offline.

According to BookMyShow, most theatres across Assam have already sold out shows till 2 November 2025, with only a few seats remaining in select locations. From early-morning to late-night screenings, audiences are eager to relive the magic of Zubeen’s voice and presence on the big screen one last time.

Before its release, Roi Roi Binale is already creating record-breaking buzz. In Guwahati’s Cinepolis, the film will have a record 19 shows per day, with all other movie screenings cancelled to make room for it. Some theatres plan to begin screenings as early as 6 am. The PVR in Guwahati will screen the film 16 times daily, while Matrix Hall in Beltola will host 12 shows each day.

Cinemas in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tezpur, Silchar, and other towns are witnessing long queues as fans line up to book tickets in person. Many theatres have reported houseful boards within hours of opening bookings — a rare phenomenon in recent times.

“It feels like an emotional reunion with Zubeen da. Watching him on screen again feels both beautiful and heartbreaking,” said a fan waiting outside a Guwahati multiplex.

Directed under the banner of Zeal Creation, Roi Roi Binale is more than just a film — it is a celebration of music, nostalgia, and the undying legacy of Zubeen Garg. The film’s trailer, released earlier this week, has already sparked an emotional wave across social media, with fans calling it “Zubeen da’s final gift to Assam.”

As theatres continue to overflow with fans, Roi Roi Binale is shaping up to be one of the biggest Assamese film releases in recent memory — a heartfelt tribute to the icon whose voice continues to echo in every Assamese heart.
