Woman struck by Baltimore County school bus dies, police say

A woman died after being hit by a Baltimore County school bus in Rossville on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

BCPD spokesperson Jasmine Fleet said officers arrived at the intersection of Philadelphia and Ridge roads at 1:55 p.m. to respond to a report of a motor vehicle crash.

Officers found that a woman had been struck by a school bus. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Fleet said no children were aboard the bus at the time.

BCPD closed the roads in the vicinity following the crash but have since reopened them, according to Fleet, who said Baltimore County Police Crash Team detectives are handling the ongoing investigation.
