INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Frosty conditions this morning also into your Friday morning as temperatures fall into the ’30s across much of the state. Temperatures warm back up for the afternoon and we could be seeing some rain chances heading this way for the end of the weekend and through much of next week.

TODAY: A Frost Advisory is in place until 9 this morning. Clear skies this morning with temperatures starting into the 30s. Frost is likely this morning. Look for lots of sunshine this afternoon with high temperatures into the upper ’50s.

TONIGHT: Freeze Warning in place for later tonight and early on Friday morning. Temperatures in the city under mostly clear skies and calm winds will fall to 36 degrees. Outside of the city temperatures will fall right around freezing. If you have any tender vegetation you might want to bring it inside, cover it up, and definitely locate that scraper you may need it early Friday morning.

TOMORROW: After the chilly start to your Friday look for partly cloudy skies, dry conditions and light winds. High temperatures climbing close to 60 degrees. Friday night football games look good as we begin sectional playoffs. No need for the rain gear late Friday but as the sun sets temperatures will begin to drop. Maybe on the cooler side late Friday evening.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: This weekend doesn’t look too bad. We will see partly cloudy skies on Saturday. Highs near 60 degrees. Clouds will increase later in the afternoon on Sunday and there is a very slim chance we could see a few spotty showers late in the day. High temperatures will climb to 62 degrees.

Rain chances continue on and off heading into the first part of next week. Temperatures will fall into the mid and upper ’50s.
