Turkmenistan, Georgia consider expanding cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze on October 21, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian fields.

They also emphasized successful collaboration within the multilateral formats, primarily in the United Nations.

The Prime Minister of Georgia emphasized the constructiveness of his visits to Turkmenistan in the present year and meetings with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting their importance in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
