The Rescue Police Patrol affiliated to the Capital Governorate has taken into custody an unidentified Kuwaiti man who was wanted by the Sentences Enforcement Department in connection with a drug abuse case.

The man, who was arrested on the Jahra Road near the Doha, was stopped for reckless driving and while checking his ID, the officer discovered he was wanted by law, reports Al-Anba daily.

A search of the vehicle yielded two small sachets suspected to contain narcotics, along with drug paraphernalia. The suspect and the seized items were referred to the General Department for Drug Control for further action.
