INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Clouds will increase today as a weaker front crosses without bringing any steady rain. Rain chances look much higher this weekend.
TODAY: Partly cloudy skies become mostly cloudy. A stray sprinkle is possible in the northern third of the state, but we aren’t likely to see much survive down to central Indiana. High temperatures in the low 70s.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies with clouds decreasing in the early morning hours. Low temperature near 50 degrees.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny skies and cooler. High temperatures in the low 70s.
7-DAY FORECAST: All eyes remain on the weekend for a possible heavy rain and storm chance. A cold front swings through the Midwest, driving up rain chance locally late Saturday into Saturday night. We will get a better sense of timing closer to the event.
In SW Indiana, a slight risk of severe remains in place for this system. A few showers/storms might linger into Sunday morning before central Indiana clears out. High temperatures on Sunday & Monday afternoon will be in the mid-60s.
